The mission of the Center of Concern is to provide housing solutions, support services and counseling for seniors, disabled and others in need, enabling them to live with dignity and independence.

The Center of Concern is most grateful for our many caring and generous supporters. Those sustaining relationships have allowed us to grow and provide greater opportunities for seniors, disabled, and others in need for nearly 40 years. Over the last 3 years, we have increased our services almost three-fold. Each year, over 10,000 services are provided to area residents through our social services programs. The Center’s programs continue to evolve in response to longer life expectancy, increasing healthcare and housing costs, and Baby Boomers reaching retirement with fewer family members to care for their needs.
We are extending an invitation for you to join us in support of our Annual Spring Appeal. Your contribution sustains our agency as we address the complex needs of the seniors, the homeless, and the disabled we serve.
The accompanying newsletter shows a portion of our mission in action. Participation in Community Service Projects allows volunteers and the community to serve and create new friendships. Access to information technology provides students and seniors with the opportunity for personal growth and a connection to the community. Through “Senior Ask”, seniors and/or their caregivers are encouraged to ask our experienced staff questions large and small and be directed to effective community resources. Affordable Housing Options allow seniors to find Home Sharing arrangements to allow them to remain safely in their homes and our Rapid Re-Housing Program surrounds adults and children with a roof over their head and supportive services to remain in their local community with dignity.
Gifts to the Annual Appeal provide essential funding for our vital programs and services. You make it possible for Seniors, the Disabled, and others in need to attain their goals and realize their highest level of independence and self-sufficiency.
Your generous gift to the Annual Appeal offers hope and opportunity to each individual we serve! Click here to support the Center of Concern Spring Appeal.
