Community Service Day

40th Anniversary: Spring Appeal 2018

This year the Center of Concern is commemorating a significant milestone, providing 40 years of service to our friends and neighbors (1978‐2018).

Looking back on 40 years, we have consistently focused on Help and Hope as we have been present to the needs of the community. Themes from the past 40 years (see margin) include “The Place to Find Help”, A Place You Can Turn for Care and Help”, “Building Bridges of Hope”, “Reaching Out to Help You” and “ A Helping Hand to Neighbors in Need”. With your help, these themes will continue to describe Center of Concern services, providing quality services, and help and hope, to older homebound adults and the homeless.

In our spring/summer newsletter, you will read about Sarah, a single 60-year-old woman who was sleeping in her car, who wished for “small luxuries” many of us take for granted. Sarah got her wish, thanks to so many of you who were able to provide support that allowed the Center of Concern to make a the difference in her life.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the Center of Concern as we look forward to our next 40 years. We appreciate anything you can give!

Have a great spring and summer,

John McNabola
Executive Director
