Lace up your sneakers and join the Center of Concern for our annual Blarney Dash 5K! Your registration gets you entry to our timed 5K, an exclusive t-shirt*, race medal, access to fun awards and prizes, and supports the Center of Concern’s critical programs and services. Participate in-person on Saturday, March 11th, or complete your 3.1 miles independently any time.
Individual Entry: $50
Group of Five: $225
Student/Child: $30
Senior 62+: $30
Dog: $10
*T-shirts are guaranteed if registering before 2/28 in youth unisex sizes small, medium, or large, and adult unisex sizes small, medium, large, X-large, 2x-large, and 3x-large.
Dogs can enter and receive a custom bandana, too! Pick up your race t-shirt and swag bag during our normal business hours March 6th – 10th at our office, 1665 Elk Boulevard, Des Plaines, 60016

The Center of Concern’s Blarney Bash celebration is back this year and will include dinner, drinks, friends, fun, and Irish music!
Support our agency’s important work while trying your luck at our exciting 50/50 Split-the-Pot drawing or enter to win fantastic prizes in our many raffles!
Ticket pricing is $80 per person, $150 per couple, or $700 per table of 10.

Blarney Bash dinner in the Shillelagh Room at Hackney’s on Lake includes one signature drink; unlimited soda, water, coffee, and tea; access to a full cash bar; and your dinner choice of:
-Famous Hackneyburger with coleslaw and fries
-Blarney Broiled Chicken Sandwich with coleslaw and fries
-Leprechaun Chicken Caesar Salad
-Lucky Reuben Sandwich with coleslaw and fries
Plus Hackney’s Original French Fried Onions, and a chocolate sundae for dessert! Vegetarian and special diet options will be available upon request. No need to choose now, Hackney’s will take your order at dinner. Cocktails start at 6:00 PM, dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.
